The state of Texas changed laws in 2014. In order to stay compliant with state laws, a medical consultation must be done for every new patient, in every office that offers non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Every office has different medical directors, Mid-Level practitioners etc. If you have had a medical consultation in another med spa that consultation will not roll over to every spa due to the guidelines set in Texas and guidelines set for medical over sight. If you are visiting Wild & Beautiful for the first time and are having a procedure that is considered medical/prescriptive or the use of a medical device you will need to have this consultation. It is the law and we would be practicing medicine without a license if we as the spa do not follow these guidelines. This would be a class C felony for every occurrence. This is an extremely important step to having a treatment at our spa. The consult fee is $25.00. We apologize for the inconvenience of this fee. We have highly trained Advanced Nurse Practitioners who have spent many years in school and have paid a high price to practice medicine and they are paid for the additional time they give us. The fee is worth what the consult brings which is to help ensure better safety for your treatment. Your safety is worth more than the small fee we have to apply to you. We appreciate your understanding!

If you are having a facial, waxing or anything not medical related you do not need to have this consultation.

After you make your medical consultation appointment and pay your fee we can then schedule your service. We can schedule both at the same time. You would have the medical consultation first when available and then your service appointment.

The medical consultation is done over the phone, in real time on a device that allows the provider to see your skin and evaluate your skin conditions in real time. You do not need to come to our spa for this consultation.
